I think the thing I’m most looking forward to about moving back to California is moving back to a place where not everyone’s money goes towards alcohol. As someone who rarely drinks, it kind of sucks when I want to go out to dinner with friends but they’re saving up their money for pints at the bar. Especially when those bars don’t serve delicious awful pub food.
This dog breeder on a documentary I’m watching talked about how pugs pass out when they get excited and then said “But I think they’re very healthy dogs.”

The guy on the register at Kilimanjaro (my usual coffee shop) brought me my coffee and said he was glad my IVs were out, and asked how I was doing. Totally surprising, completely made my day. It really is the little things in life, and these little moments with people that make life worth living.
